Students are further
introduced to the basic concept of probability theory, probability distribution
and inferential statistics. Topics include computation of expectation, the
normal distribution, student’s t and chi-square and f distribution. Topics in
inferential statistics include estimations and their properties, confidence interval
and hypothesis testing, plus elementary regression. The logic of hypothesis
testing. Tests of significance for nominal, ordinal level, interval and ratio
level, measures of association for nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio levels.
Simple regression, index number, unit normal distribution
